Food insecurity assessment in Mozambique

This summary report provides a brief assessment of food insecurity in Mozambique at the national and provincial level based on food consumption statistics derived from data collected in the 2002/03 Mozambique Household Budget Survey (Inquérito aos Agregados Familiares, IAF 2002/03) using the FAO methodology.

The report is the product of activities carried-out within the framework of the EC-FAO Food Security Information for Action Programme implemented by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations through the Statistics Division and with the financial support of the European Union.
