ASMN 4.0 Commences October 2024

Following the successes recorded at the third edition of the African Scholars Mentorship Network (ASMN) Series 3.0 and the attendant appeal by young professionals for the flagship training programme to be opened for new intakes, the leadership of DePECOS Institutions and Development Research Centre (DIaDeRC) has approved the commencement of ASMN 4.0 from October 27th through November 24th, 2024.

In July 2014, African Heads of State and Government adopted the Malabo Declaration on Accelerated Agricultural Growth and Transformation for Shared Prosperity and Improved Livelihoods. They spelt out a set of seven commitments against which to track the continent's performance in its collective efforts to transform agriculture sustainably. At the end of this year, the lifecycle of the vision encapsulated in the Malabo Declaration will elapse.
