This presentation describes the technical aspect of MIRAGRODEP/ MIRAGE, discussing the usage of a multi-country CGE. It covers model closure and numeraire, trade policy issues, a case study, main features of MIRAGE, technical description of the standard framework, specificities, and recent extensions. It was introduced in the 2012 AGRODEP training course, Multi-Country, Multi-Sector General Equilibrium Analysis: MIRAGRODEP, held on December 17-19 in the IFPRI Dakar office.
