AGRODEP currently has 234 members from 33 different countries across Africa. AGRODEP membership enables African researchers to enjoy free access to cutting-edge economic research tools, data, and training courses, as well as to collaborate and network with colleagues and experts from Africa and beyond. AGRODEP members come from various research institutions and universities throughout Africa. Their research interests and experience are quite diverse and include natural resource management, climate change, energy efficiency, food security and nutrition, livestock economics, labor economics, tourism economics, micro-econometrics, international trade, economic modeling, regional integration, agricultural policy and agribusiness development, gender, poverty, inequality, impact evaluation, credit risk modeling, public spending, and health care financing, to name just a few. Qualified researchers from Africa who currently live and work in the region are eligible to become AGRODEP members. To become a member, applicants must submit an online application when a new round of membership application opens.
