AGRODEP Modeling Consortium partners with leading universities and research organizations which share a similar vision on strengthening capacity building in Africa and promoting evidence-based policymaking that leads to regional growth and development. Partners contribute to meeting AGRODEP's objectives and play an active role in helping implement AGRODEP activities. Currently, AGRODEP partners with nine institutions listed below.
Association for Strengthening Agricultural Research in Eastern and Central Africa (ASARECA) is a non-political organization of the National Agricultural Research Systems (NARS) of ten countries: Burundi, D. R. Congo, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Madagascar, Rwanda, Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda. It aims at increasing the efficiency of agricultural research in the region so as to facilitate economic growth, food security and export competitiveness through productive and sustainable agriculture. |

West and Central African Council for Agricultural Research and Development's (CORAF-WECARD) vision is to contribute to sustainable reduction of poverty and food insecurity in West and Central Africa. This will be achieved through agricultural led economic growth, and improving agricultural research system of the sub-region. The mission is underlined by the determination to meet the socioeconomic needs of the population in the sub-region. This is why CORAF/WECARD’s concern is to improve, in a sustainable way, agricultural productivity, competitiveness and markets. The general objective of CORAF/WECARD is clear, precise, and pertinent: to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of small-scale producers and promote the agribusiness sector. For that reason, it puts the producers and end-users at the centre of research. |

Food, Agriculture and Natural Resources Policy Analysis Network (FANRPAN) is a regional policy research and advocacy network whose operations are informed by major regional policy frameworks and processes in Southern Africa. It's mission is to promote effective Food, Agriculture and Natural Resources (FANR) policies by i) facilitating linkages and partnerships between government and civil society, ii) building the capacity for policy analysis and policy dialogue, and iii) supporting demand-driven policy research and analysis. |

Center for Global Trade Analysis (GTAP) is a global network of researchers and policy makers conducting quantitative analysis of international policy issues. GTAP's goal is to improve the quality of quantitative analysis of global economic issues within an economy-wide framework through better data, models, and education. |
Institut Agronomique et Vétérinaire Hassan II (IAV) was founded in 1966 and is a higher education and research institute. Its areas of expertise include: agriculture and agricultural resources; rural development and spatial planning; environment and natural resource management; agro-industrial processing; plant biotechnology, animal and microbial; veterinary public health; and services associated with agricultural production, distribution, and marketing. |

The Poverty and Economic Policy (PEP) Research Network brings together and provides manifold support to hundreds of developing country researchers working on issues related to poverty and development at home. With regional bases in Asia, Africa, North and Latin America, PEP is an international network of research institutes, researchers and development practitioners, supported by international experts and devoted to ensuring greater participation of local expertise in the analysis of policy issues related to poverty, economic and social development in developing countries. With access to extensive resources, researchers who benefit from PEP scientific, technical and financial support gain both the expertise and reputation to assist in evidence-based policymaking, while contributing to related national and international debates. |

The Centre for World Food Studies (Dutch acronym SOW-VU for "Stichting Onderzoek Wereldvoedsel-voorziening van de Vrije Universiteit"), founded in 1977, is a research institute that provides support, at both national and international levels, to the formulation of food and agricultural policies and policies aiming at poverty reduction. The Centre is engaged in applied and quantitative research. It co-operates with scientists and policy makers from developing countries so as to ensure that policy formulation and capacity building evolve together. The Centre also contributes to debates and policy dialogues on food related issues. |
