USAID/Rwanda is seeking applications for a four and a half-year activity to improve access to and encourage correct, consistent use of household sanitation and hygiene facilities to decrease childhood stunting and support the Government of Rwanda’s work in sanitation. This project will look at undernutrition that is directly impacted by disease, and indirectly related to many factors, including contaminated drinking-water and poor sanitation and hygiene (WASH). Cost share under the proposed award is required to be at least 10% of the total estimated amount of the USAID support. USAID intends to provide $10.7 million for the project. The deadline to apply is on April 18, 2016.
