ReSAKSS is looking for AGRODEP members to assist with the 2015 assessments of Joint Sector Reviews (JSRs) and JSR-like reviews. The eleven countries of focus for these assessments are: Benin, Burundi, Cote d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Mali, Niger, Swaziland, Togo, Uganda, and Zambia.
JSRs help promote mutual accountability under CAADP by providing a platform to assess the performance and results of the agriculture sector. However, the current JSR process needs strengthening in terms of design, stakeholder inclusion, data analysis, dialogue, and quality of implementation. Assessments of JSRs will provide analytical and technical support to help improve the JSRs and provide improved empirical evidence on which to base policies, planning, budgeting, etc. Examples of previous JSR assessments can be found here: https://www.resakss.org/publications/594.
Please view the following documents for more information on the assessment of JSRs:

Application:
If you fulfill the requirements and are interested in participating in the JSR assessments, please send your CV and two recent (within 5 years) writing samples to data@agrodep.org by Friday, February 27.
