AGRODEP has launched a new series of technical notes. These notes, addressing the methodology, functioning, and use cases of a wide range of models, are designed to provide AGRODEP members with the most state-of-the-art tools. Members will be able to use the information found in these notes to address their own technical issues in their use of models and data, leading to a clearer understanding of the latest models and higher quality research.
The Technical Note Series will cover everything from computable general equilibrium models and partial equilibrium models to microsimulation models and econometric models. While the tools presented in the notes focus on agricultural economics and international trade, they can be adapted to apply to the wider field of economics in general. To date, the series includes five notes.
