Seoul National University in South Korea (#1 in Korea; #36 globally) recently opened a new campus in Pyeongchang (in Kangwon Province, in the eastern part of the country; this is where the 2018 Winter Olympics was hosted), focusing on international agriculture research. They are ramping up the program and especially looking to reach out to junior scientists in CGIAR who are interested in pursuing graduate studies. They have good opportunities (including financial support programs), but so far information about the school program isn’t readily/widely available yet.
The Graduate School of International Agricultural Technology (GSIAT) to give a webinar specifically for CGIAR audience next week, on 15 January, 7-8 AM GMT where they will introduce the school, showcase some of the flagship programs, and answer to any questions that prospective students seeking graduate study opportunities might have.
