AKADEMIYA2063 and the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) convened a virtual session on September 27, 2022, to debate and promote the findings of the 2022 Africa Agriculture Trade Monitor (AATM). The 5th AATM sharpens our understanding of African agricultural trade by analyzing regional and continental trade in agriculture and select value chains, with analysis of the nutritional content of African trade; the potentially transformative impact of the AfCFTA on the region’s economies and the evolution of intra- and extra-regional trade flows and trade policy of the ECCAS region.
