It happened again with the invitation some AGRODEP members to the just concluded Workshop held in Dakar, Senegal between 19 and 20 Nov., 2013. I call it an event that is very rare in Africa, a capacity building, motivating, skill acquisition and networking programme organized by a unique training and research facilitating outfit- AGRODEP. I wish to specially appreciate the AGRODEP management for the noble effort. My thanks go to great resource persons like Fofana Ismaeel, Antoine Bouet; Maximo Torero; Ousmane Badiane; Greenwell Matchaya and Betina Dimaranan for being on ground ‘to provide very useful information as regards AGRODEP mission and to put the papers presented in proper shapes’ My appreciations also go to Alimatou Diop for her usual logistics (welfare and the rest). I have just benefited immensely from the exclusive and beneficial comments received from the paper I presented and those of others. Indeed one may not get the clues from the libraries in years. It was a wonderful occasion. I need to appreciate my co-members of AGRODEP too for the expositions from the several papers presented. Their enthusiasms were interesting. Once again, thank to all.
