Tibesigwa, Byela

Dr. Byela Tibesigwa is a citizen of Tanzania. She has been an AGRODEP member since July, 2015. At the present, Byela is a Senior Research Fellow at the Environment for Development Tanzania. In this position, Byela conducts research focusing on agriculture, food security, vulnerability and livelihood. Before joining Environment for Development Tanzania, Byela worked for University of Cape Town as a Junior Research Fellow. She holds a BA in Economics from the University of Botswana, a MA in Economics from the University of Botswana, and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Cape Town.
