Joe E. Assoua

Dr. Joe E. Assoua holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics from the University of Buea, Cameroon, and an MSc in International Economics (Trade Policy and Trade Law) from Lund University, Sweden. He is a Lecturer in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness in the Faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, University of Buea, Cameroon.

Dr. Assoua has over twelve years of teaching and research experience in agricultural trade, agribusiness, food economics, food systems, food safety, global value chain, and nutrition policies. He has worked on a wide range of agriculture, trade policy, and development issues with organizations such as the African Economic Research Consortium (AERC), the United Nations University-Institute for Natural Resources in Africa (UNU-INRA), and the Trade Policy Training Centre in Africa (TRAPCA), Arusha-Tanzania.
