CHIKHURI, KRISHNA

Dr. Krishna Chikhuri is a citizen of Mauritius. He has been an AGRODEP member since September, 2018. At the present, Krishna is a Senior Agricultural Policy & Programme Development Officer at the Ministry of Agro-Industry & Food Security. In this position, Krishna Participate in the formulation of agricultural policies; Provide technical advice on agricultural trade issues in relation to negotiations at the WTO, EPA, SADC, COMESA, bilateral level etc. ; To monitor the implementation of projects and programs, and evaluate the performance and impact thereof ; Keeping and updating financial, economic and other statistical information pertaining to the agricultural sector.. Before joining Ministry of Agro-Industry & Food Security, Krishna worked for . He holds a BS in Social Studies & Humanities from University of Mauritius, a MSc in Social Studies & Humanities from University of Mauritius, and a Ph.D. in Social Studies & Humanities from University of Mauritius.
