Dr. Manamboba Mitélama Balaka holds several degrees, including a PhD in Development Economics. He has been an Economist and Development Planner with the Ministry of Development Planning and Cooperation for 13 years in Togo. His experience includes the development of policies and projects aimed at promoting sustainable development, particularly related to reducing the impact of climate change.
His research focuses on the socioeconomic impacts of climate change and public policies. As a Humphrey International Fellow, he seeks to enhance his knowledge of planning and management of development policies and projects, deepen his experience with monitoring and evaluation, and understand US approaches to administrative management at the national, regional, and local levels.
