Dr. Kelechi Chijindu Nnamdi holds a PhD in Economics from Rivers State University. He is a lecturer in the Department of Economics at the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria. His major areas of teaching and research specialization are development economics, economic planning, time series econometrics, public sector economics, and public policy. He has a series of research articles in reputable journals and several other scholarly works in progress.
Dr. Nnamdi has attended several Seminars, Workshops, and International Conferences within and outside Nigeria, where he presented his research findings and contributed to several policy briefs. As an early researcher, he is a recipient of highly competitive grants from international organizations. He is a Research fellow/member of several professional associations and a network member of sundry research organizations internationally, such as the Econometric Society. He is often involved in interdisciplinary research projects with a focus on Africa.
