The AGRODEP web team recently added a new specialization feature to the website that will allow for the identification of members based on their broad areas of study and specialization. The specialization page is a dynamic page that aggregates information directly from members’ profiles; the page is currently divided into AGRODEP members and non-AGRODEP members (which includes staff, SC, SAB, and NAC representatives). The areas of specialization shown on this page come from those indicated by members in their AGRODEP profiles, and are based on areas of sub-specialization typically available in degrees in Economics/Agricultural Economics.
This feature will be particularly useful in linking external mentors and reviewers with AGRODEP members based on their areas of interest and specialization. This activity will be pursued in the coming year.
