"With a life expectancy of 45, and an infant mortality rate of 84 per 1 000 live births, food security and self sufficiency are not the only issues that plague this southern African nation with its two million population. Twenty percent of children are underweight and 38 percent are stunted from malnutrition. Lesotho’s share of agriculture imports (6.9 percent) is about six times that of its exports (.2 percent)."
