Kansiime, Monica Kagorora

Dr. Monica Kansiime is a citizen of Uganda. She has been an AGRODEP member since July, 2015. At the present, Monica is a Agricultural Economist at the CAB International (CABI). In this position, Monica Technical support to seed businesses in Eastern Africa countries to ensure production and supply of quality seed to farmers, facilitate seed multi-stakeholder forums, action research on specific issues related to seed businesses. Before joining CAB International (CABI), Monica worked for Horn Economic and Social Policy Institute (HESPI), Addis Ababa; the Integrated Seed Sector Development (ISSD) programme, Uganda; Oxfam GB in Uganda; ASARECA. She holds a BS in Crop Science from Makerere University, Kampala, a MSc in Agricultural Economics from Makerere University, Kampala, and a Ph.D. in Agribusiness Management and Trade from Kenyatta University, NAirobi. She is specialized in Agricultural Production and Technology. She is interested in <p>Farming systems, Climate change, Food security and nutrition, Seed systems, Value chains, Evaluations</p>
