Dr. Asmaa Elbadawy is a citizen of Egypt. She has been an AGRODEP member since May, 2013. At the present, Asmaa is a Consultant at the Population Council. In this position, Asmaa conducts research on poverty, gender and youth issues. Before joining Population Council, Asmaa worked for . She holds a BA in Economics from Alexandria University, Egypt, a MA in Economics from University of Waterloo, Canada, and a Ph.D. in Economics from McMaster University, Canada.
