Alia, Didier

Mr. Didier Alia is a citizen of Benin. He has been an AGRODEP member since July, 2014. At the present, Didier is a Research Assistant/PhD Student at the University of Kentucky. In this position, Didier Research on International Development, Development Economics, Agricultural Economics and Industrial Organization. Before joining University of Kentucky, Didier worked for AfricaRice. He holds a BS in Faculty of Science and Technologies from University of Abomey-Calavi, Calavi Benin, a MSc in Statistics and Economics from Sub-Regional Institut of Economics and Applied Statistics (ISSEA), Yaounde Cameroon, and a in from University of Kentucky. He is specialized in Development Economics. He is interested in <p>I use micro-econometrics, macro-econometrics and general equilibrium models to address a broad range of issues related to Economic Development, Agricultural Policy formulation and Evaluation, Market Integration and Price transmission, and the Welfare Effect of Technology Adoption and Diffusion. I’m also interested many aspects of industrial organization and institutional economics.</p>
