In November, AGRODEP conducted a survey asking members to help select the AGRODEP training courses for 2013.  A list of 16 proposed courses was provided and members were asked to choose their top three based on which courses would be most useful for their research and professional development. The AGRODEP Web team recently completed the first annual user survey for agrodep.org.  The survey was open to AGRODEP members and was designed to gain a better understanding of what its members need from the portal. The results of the survey will be used to identify areas of potential improvement in AGRODEP's online activities and outreach in the coming year. The AGRODEP training course on GAMS-Based Computable General Equilibrium Modeling (advanced) was held on 3-5 December, 2012. The course was conducted by Helene Maisonnave of PEP Laval. AGRODEP recently welcomed 34 new members from the 2012 Special Call for Membership. The call, which focused on researchers who are engaged in or strongly interested in impact evaluation, attracted members from a wide variety of professional backgrounds and nationalities.
