AGRODEP is pleased to announce a new training course series on CGE modeling that will be held around the 2014 GTAP conference in June. All members attending these courses will also be granted funding for the GTAP conference if they would like to attend.
- Monday, June 16 - Tuesday, June 17: Advanced CGE Modeling: PEP and IFPRI Models; Instructors: Fousseini Traoré, IFPRI & Ismael Fofana, IFPRI.
- Wednesday, June 18 - Friday, June 20: GTAP Conference
- Sunday, June 22: Advanced CGE modeling: Models of regional trade integration (co-sponsored by the World Bank); Instructors: David Tarr, Consultant, World Bank & Thomas Rutherford, University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Members may apply to attend only one course but applicants are encouraged to attend both courses as a sequence. It is strongly suggested that applicants have previous experience with CGE modeling and GAMS.
Members are required to submit a Google Scholar Citation link before AGRODEP will consider applications complete. Also note that the number of spaces reserved for these courses is limited.
Apply here by April 23, 2014. Please submit only one application for the series of courses.
Please send any questions along with Google Scholar URLs to Kathryn Kincheloe at k.p.kincheloe@cgiar.org.
