This presentation explains reasons for weighting and provides the definition of sampling weights. It covers post stratification, non-response, raking, and trimming as well. It was introduced in the 2012 AGRODEP training course, Household Survey Data: Sampling and Processing held on October 8-10 in IFPRI Dakar office.
