On December 15-16, 2011, Antoine Bouet and David Laborde from IFPRI Washington D.C. presented at a workshop organized jointly by the (UCAD) and IFPRI in Dakar, Senegal. They presented "Evaluating the impact of trade liberalization on poverty with CGE/Micro-Simulation: a review of literature and an illustration with MIRAGE_HH (MIRAGE-Households)" available in the AGRODEP Resource Library.
The conference brought together university students and experts from public and research institutions to exchange ideas on emerging global economic changes and their implications for and economic growth and food security strategies in African countries.
